David Cutter - Author

I am 61 years old, play guitar, matter of fact, I toured with a band Named "FLASHBACK" on the west coast from 1980-88 and then went behind the stage and owned a Sound and Booking Co until Sept. 2009. I love music and have helped many people/bands get record contracts over the 20+ years i owned "JVD PRODUCTIONS. I love to fish, but most of all I Love my wife and family. David May worked with all 3 of my kids as a group leader during there teen years and was a wonderful mentor that is still respected and talked about during or Sunday family dinners and other times. One would say back in the 20's and 30's, David May is a "GOOD JOE" One of those good people you met over your lifetime that you will never forget. You know, the ones you met that you can count on one hand.

I also gave it a go with Stand Up. I was messing around before a show in 1981 when we were having PA problums and started talking to the crowd and I guess they thought that I was funny so, the band talked me into WORMING up the fans before we played each show and I did that for about 5 years. It was very fun, and we started getting alot more gig's so I guess I did OK.

Now that I am retired I enjoy wahing up each day and saying "what do I want to do today?" All my working life I never thought that would come, but it did and it is a wonderful feeling. With that said, I think I'll go fish'n for a while,but I'll be back in time for my nap, or, take a nap on the boat and hope I wake up before dinner time. Life is good and for the first time I can say, and meen it when I say, "I'm just kick'n it, chilling, going with the flow" Thank you God for everything.
